A groundbreaking ceremony was held at 6305 Ronald Reagan Avenue on October 19, 2021, to celebrate the development of a brand new industrial building at the site. The 122,038 SF facility will be constructed by Corporate Contractors, Inc., headquartered in Beloit, WI, with completion scheduled for Summer 2022.
In addition to leadership from Greywolf Partners and Corporate Contractors, representatives from JAKnetter Architects and JSD Professional Services attend the ceremony.
The building is designed for warehouse/distribution, logistics, manufacturing, assembly, and R&D/lab uses. The building will offer quick and convenient access to the Interstate 90/39 interchange and excellent linkage to the entire metro-Madison area, as well as other major urban centers in the Midwest.
“We are extremely excited to break ground on another speculative industrial project in Madison and address the growing demand for quality industrial space in Dane County,” said Joe Wagner, chief executive officer for Greywolf Partners. “The building will provide its users with a state-of-the-art facility to meet their various needs,” added Wagner.
Features of the building include 32’ ceiling height, 50’x 50’ column spacing, twenty exterior loading docks, four at-grade drive-in doors, LED lighting throughout the building, and an ESFR fire protection system.
“The first-class precast panel building is designed to accommodate a large single tenant user or multiple tenants as small as 20,000 SF,” stated Todd Rizzo, senior vice president for Greywolf Partners, who is leading the development.
JAKnetter Architects is providing architectural services and JSD Professional Services is providing civil and landscaping engineering for the project.
